Practice. Guidelines

IBM e-business Innovation Centre, Southbank, London, UK (Timothy Soar)

Introduction
Professional Practice Guidelines are the foundation of the Speirs and Major Associates internal Project Management System which informs our internal quality assurance.

The guidelines have been consolidated from the Codes of Conduct and Ethics from the following organisations:

:: International Association of Lighting Designers (IALD)
:: European Lighting Design Association (ELDA)
:: Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA)
:: Royal Incorporation of Architects In Scotland (RIAS)
:: Architects Registration Board (ARB)

Each member of the practice is required to familiarise themselves with the guidelines and observe their requirements in practice. They are assumed to be the baseline condition for professional behaviour within Speirs and Major Associates.

Notwithstanding these guidelines members of the practice are also encouraged to read the Codes of Conduct and Ethics of the above mentioned associations and institutes.
