Speirs and Major Associates are design team members for this year's Stirling Prize Winner, Maggie's Centre, London, by Rogers Stirk Harbour and Partners.

Speirs and Major Associates were also on the design team for this year's Project of the Year at this year's RICS Grand Final Ceremony, held in London on Friday 6th November 2009, St Paul's Cathedral Tercentenary Project.

Jonathan Speirs gave the CIBSE Centenary lecture at the Royal Institution on 22nd September 2009.

Jonathan Speirs was invited to talk at the Love light event at the Royal College of Physicians on 8th October 2009.

The Directors of SaMA gave lectures at the biennial Professional Lighting Design Convention (PLDC) in Berlin on Friday October 30th 2009. Click here to read a review.

Mark Major gave a lecture at Desenhar a Luz (Designing Light) at the University of Oporto on 6th November 2009.
